Set up FFmpeg

FFmpeg is required for video and JPG compression. Follow the instructions below to install FFmpeg

Step 1: Go to

Step 2: Click this big green button to download FFmpeg

Step 3: Right click the downloaded file, then select Open to unzip the file

Step 4: Right click on ffmpeg and select Open, and click Open again on the popup

Step 5: Right click on ffmpeg again, then press Option key on your keyboard and select Copy “ffmpeg” as Pathname

Step 6: Go back to CompressX, right click on the ffmpeg path text box and select Paste

Step 7: Tap Update and you’re done
